Pivot Les

There are days when the race just demands something a little (or a lot) more rigid but there’s no reason to suffer unnecessarily while sprinting off the front of the pack. We designed the LES to be the lightest, fastest race machine made and ensured that it delivered this performance at every point in the race from the smoothest to the roughest parts of the course. The LES provides all of this and more due to its ultra lightweight ride tuned composite chassis that’s incredibly stiff in all the right places yet still the most comfortable riding race bike ever developed.
  • Pivot’s exclusive hollow box, high-compression internal mandrel technology allows for greater compaction and smoother internal walls resulting in a lighter, stronger, highly optimized, ride tuned frame design. This technology allows the frame to be extremely lightweight while also having a very balanced feel with a great combination of stiffness and ride quality.
  • Full internal shift cable routing with under bottom bracket access port design for hassle free installation. The LES features well thought-out internal cable routing that protects the cables from contamination while also being very user serviceable and easy to route which is something that cannot be said for most internal routed designs.
  • Chainstay length and tire clearance: The LES features extremely short 17.1” chain stays. This is in 26” wheel territory and matches the shortest chainstay lengths out there so riders have a tight handling, responsive bike along with the benefits of 29” wheels. The real magic in the LES design is that we clear some of the biggest 29er tires in the market. Go ahead and run your 2.3’s; the LES has ample clearance.
  • Dropouts: The LES dropouts (included with every frame) are full molded hi-mod carbon fiber featuring a 142 X 12mm through axle, post style disk brake mounts and a replaceable derailleur hanger. These cleanly integrate into the frame giving little hint that the dropouts are removable. The Swinger system provides quick, consistent, indexed chain adjustments for single speed use along with fast wheel changes and no change in brake adjustments.

Pivot Les 27.5

Now you can have that big wheel performance in an even more nimble package. The LES 27.5’s compact frame design takes our affinity for lightweight performance to a whole new level while opening up the big wheel category to a much wider range of riders. Some have described the new LES 27.5 as almost BMX like due to its next generation XC geometry that can dissect the tightest race courses with scalpel like precision while handling technical descents, rollers, berms and jumps like no XC hard-tail ever made. The magic combination of Pivot’s ultra lightweight ride tuned composite chassis, 27.5” wheels, progressive geometry, and ultra-short 16.77”(42.6mm) chainstays makes for a bike that is as equally comfortable taking the XC or Endurance race win as it is shredding jump filled singletrack.
  • Pivot’s exclusive hollow box, high-compression internal mandrel technology allows for greater compaction and smoother internal walls resulting in a lighter, stronger, highly optimized, ride tuned frame design. This technology allows the frame extremely lightweight while also having a really balanced feel with a great combination of stiffness and ride quality.
  • Full internal shift cable routing with under bottom bracket access port design for hassle free installation: The LES 27.5” features well thought out internal cable routing that protects the cables from contamination while also being very user serviceable and easy to route, which is something that cannot be said for most internal routed designs.
  • Chainstay length and tire clearance: The LES features extremely short 16.77” chainstays. This matches the shortest 26” chainstay lengths out there so riders have a tight handling, responsive bike along with the benefits of 27.5” wheels.
  • Small and X-Small frame sizes bring big wheels with optimized fit, handling, and lighter weight to smaller riders while offering the maneuverability and excitement provided by the 27.5” wheels to riders of all sizes.

Pivot Vault

The Vault has quickly garnered a reputation as the most versatile, performance-driven cross/gravel bike in the sport. With wins in the Rock Cobbler gravel race and a first and third place finish in the Trans America Bike Race, the Vault has dominated everything from gravel races to ultra-endurance events. The Vault boasts the next generation of cyclocross/gravel racing geometry, with a lower bottom bracket height, shorter chain stays, class leading tire clearance and smooth, polished lines designed for quick, easy shouldering to get over any obstacles. The attention to detail on the Vault is second to none.
  • Internal cable routing adapts easily to either electronic or cable actuated shift systems. While the stealthy internal top tube brake routing can be totally disguised in disc brake form or cleanly hidden out of the way with cantilever brakes making portaging your bike a clean, snag-free affair.
  • The Vault’s 1.5 inch tapered steerer fork with oversize crown optimizes stiffness, increases steering precision, provides great mud clearance while eliminating brake chatter and can be used with either cantilever or disc brakes.
  • The Vault frame features the BB386EVO bottom bracket system (designed by our own Chris Cocalis). This maximum size BB greatly increases torsional rigidity and strength and improves power transfer for a more efficient ride while also providing for more tire clearance to clear the widest rims on the market.
  • The Vault converts seamlessly from cantilever to disc with our innovative and clean removable brake post system, while the Vault’s carbon rear dropouts incorporate a dual insert system which allows easy conversion between 130mm and 135mm spacing for use with either standard road or disc brake specific wheels designs.

Pivot Point

From the jump line to the pump track or even tearing it up at your local skate park, it’s always great to have a bike like the Point in your stable. The Point was developed with some of the best riders in the world and like all Pivot bikes, brings a higher level of performance to the party. We feel it’s the best dirt jump/park bike ever made. We know that’s a strong statement, but after developing the Point with Kyle Strait in 2010 and then winning this year’s Men’s Pro FMB Tour Jump and Jam at the at the Santa Cruz Mountain bike festival under Jeff Herbertson, our claims are well founded.
  • Changeable rear dropouts: Standard bolt on (included), or optional 142 X 12mm or slotted (single speed).
  • Long top tube, low BB, short seat tube, and compact chainstays. Combined with the feel of steel, this bike is a ripper on jump lines, at skate parks, BMX tracks, or slalom courses.
  • DMR Double Butted Chromoly Steel.
  • 1.5” tapered and integrated head tube.
  • ISCG 05 mount for single ring guide.
  • Full length rear derailleur cable housing.
  • 73mm threaded BB.
